Depending on the style and look of a Go-Green walking stick, it takes between 42 & 60 steps before it is ready to venture out on its own to assist its new owner in pursuit of good health and happiness. Every student (stick) has to be treated as a separate entity. Some sticks can be completed in as little as a couple of weeks, while others are not ready for a couple of months or more. The obvious goal is to deliver a split-free stick and certain sticks we considerable vulnerable are kept behind for additional training & education. Being kept behind by no means is an indication that it is inferior to the one’s that left the nest earlier. Some sticks have small cracks in the middle of some of the small knots. These knots are so hard they really don’t contract and expand at all. These are not splits and year after year they will never get any bigger. We have yet to discover anybody else in the entire world that sells Tamarack walking sticks that doesn’t have a caveat that reads something like this “The splitting in our fine sticks have splits and this adds character.” Really! In the very unlikely event that a Go-Green Tamarack stick product forms a split, we offer an exclusive lifetime replacement guarantee.
There are many super-strong, tough walking sticks for sale. Hundreds of styles and many different kinds of wood. Our sticks are just as tough. However, let’s go one step further. Our sticks are lighter than all of them. So light they even float. So light you may forget you are using one.
What happens to the shaved bark? It is used as mulch. What happens to the one’s that split? They are used to house rain gauges, landscape lights and dozens of other uses. What happens to the end of the sticks that are too small to support humans? They are used for garden stakes. How many trees do our quasi competitors bludgeon to death to get a single, completed stick. What method are they using to extract their so-called one-of-a-kind walking sticks? I don’t even want to go down that road because it’s frightening.
All our walking sticks will be sent out USPS Priority Mail.
With each purchase you will receive a certificate authenticity and a general information card; both housed in a semi-firm plastic case and also a product care card. In addition, you will receive a clear lucite easel to display the card of your choosing, also a spare tip. Last, but not least, you will receive a SlipNot Quick Fist Walking Stick Holder, a Go-Green Products I.D. Tag and a para-cord strap to hang your stick. The one thing that bothered us producing the walking sticks is them falling over. We would have dozens lined up against a wall; lightly brush by one and we instantly became unwilling participants in the game of domino's. Even a mere one stick plummeting to the ground could set a negative tone moving forward. Just strap on the SlipNot Quick Fist and lean it against any vertical surface. If your stick is accidentally knocked down or tries to walk by itself and tumbles to the ground, the rubber SlipNot will protect it from getting damaged or damaging something else. If you have a permanent spot for your stick to recoup, in-between workouts, use the provided washer and screw and attach to a wall stud. Or, you can use the para-cord strap to hang on a coat rack.
Our sticks are designed to last for generations and will become one of the best purchases you ever made. Like every single piece we produce, actual feelings are in play. In the very unlikely event that a Go-Green Tamarack wood product forms a split, we offer an exclusive lifetime replacement guarantee on all of our wood products.

Walking Stick Measurements
Height measurements are with the tip on and without any stick curvatures. Bottom diameter measurement is with the tip off. The diagram is an estimate of how to measure the ideal height of a walking stick. Ideal is supposed to be when your arm is horizontally parallel. However, some people like the handle to be a little higher, which is especially useful when climbing hills. Some people feel more comfortable with the stick handle a little lower. Some of our sticks will accommodate a small height range of a few inches, which is noted in the descriptions. We try to utilize as many knots as we can for thumb support. Some sticks have many, small knots to create a wide range of height, which is also noted in the descriptions. When the Forearm Height Range reads “Full” it means that the entire handling area has sanded indentations throughout making it suitable for a very wide range of heights.
